Find.Same.Images.OK is a software program, according to the author's description, capable of finding identical or similar images. The program distinguishes itself from others of its kind by generating graphic signatures and comparing images pixel by pixel. It is also able to flag up rotated, mirrored or negative images and even if, for example, the image size has been altered. And according to its author, it's much faster than programs whose function is to search for duplicate files. With a good PC, over 100,000 comparisons per second.
It's aimed at users who have a lot of photos, images and wallpapers on their hard disks, and who are confronted with dozens of identical files that can eat up space on the hard disk! If you decide to search for similar images and delete them yourself, then it will take a lot of time and effort to find them, especially if your collection is large. Using the program is simple. Just select one or more folders you want the program to scan and it will then return a list of all images that are either duplicates or very similar, as indicated by the built-in similarity percentage display and side-by-side preview.
