Firemin is a utility that will undoubtedly generate a lot of comments. Basically, from memory and my understanding of it.
Firemin is a small application that eliminates memory leaks from browsers to keep their consumption at a reasonable level.
When using a browser, memory usage continues to increase the longer the program remains open / in use.
Firemin uses a Microsoft API (EmptyWorkingSet) to force the browser to release some of its reserved memory without causing stability problems. It runs in the system tray and requires no installation.
It continuously optimizes your browser, forcing it to free up memory when necessary.
The extension was originally designed for Firefox only, but it seems to work with other browsers too. All you need to do is tell Firemin the path to your browser.
