Puran File Recovery is part of a suite of utilities called "Puran Utilities".
This utility is capable of recovering accidentally deleted files and even those already deleted from the Recycle Bin.
The Deep Scan option can be used to recover files if the disk has been formatted. Almost anything detected as a storage medium by Windows can be scanned, regardless of its file system. These include hard disks, USB sticks, memory cards, cell phones, CDs and DVDs. The software supports FAT12/16/32 and NTFS.

Here are a few things you should know to help you better understand the software and increase your chances of recovery.
If none of the options below is selected, a quick scan (which simply analyzes the file system) will be performed. We recommend you run this scan first, and if the deleted files are not found, try the option below. Advanced search
This function performs a quick scan as well as an analysis of the entire free space of the selected disk to find images, videos, audio files, predefined documents, etc. in file format. This is a byte-by-byte analysis and can therefore take a long time. Complete search
This function performs a quick search as well as an in-depth search of the total space. If the Find lost files option is also selected, it will also search for lost partitions. Find lost files
This function searches for lost file archives. When combined with the Full Search option, it will also detect lost partitions. At times, you may see files you don't recognize at all, which are in fact random data on your disk falsely detected as files. These are the results of a less stringent algorithm designed to obtain maximum archive space. You can ignore them. Scan custom list
When combined with Deep / Full Search, this function will scan the selected disk for a list in a user-defined format, which you can view by clicking on Modify in the main window. Adding or modifying formats is strictly reserved for advanced users. Physical drive
If the physical drive is selected for analysis, all files regardless of their deletion status will be displayed. Physical drive analysis should be the last option. Preview window
Displays the first 1024 bytes of the selected file in HEX and ASCII formats. If the file is a valid image file under 10 MB, this window will display the image. Search
You can search for the name of a file. Wildcards? and * are allowed. For example, if you want to list all files beginning with 'a', you can search with 'a *'. *If you don't know the exact name of the file, for example, if you're looking for hellopic.jpg, you can search with hello *.jpg and if you know the exact name of the file, you can search hellopic.jpg directly. In any case, you should try the Quick Search first, if the deleted file is not found, you should proceed to Deep Search + Find lost files + Analyze custom list and if your file is still not found, opt for a Complete Search.
